in July, 2003, members of the U.S. administration
said that the conflict and killings of American forces in Iraq
(Military Police deaths are my particular concern)
did not represent a "Vietnam effect."
if you spoke to just one vet and saw a broken mind, a partial body,
or if you ran a riot or walked a demonstration at home,
you'll remember that a Vietnam effect is not limited to killings,
but is also something that shapes minds.
