A tape of a feature film, or documentary, much like this one is currently being handed
to citizens by clowns.

Clowns Confront Citizens, Cause Concern.

by Scott MacGregor

Mojo City, Sept. 19, 2001 -- Clowns are stepping out of the dark places of our city and handing over what can only be called a mysterious message.

"I was just walking down the street and this clown steps out of the alley I'm passing by and hands me this tape," said Timothy Banes, 27, of 3738 Western Dr. "So I went home and watched it. As much of it as I could. I mean, I'm a grown man and I did some time in Bosnia in the Army, but this tape was … just wrong."

The tape Banes refers to is Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Some call it a horrifying, but imaginative tale of clowns from space taking over a small city, not unlike Mojo City, and kidnapping the people apparently to use later as food.

Some call it a story. Some claim it is in fact a documentary, disguised as fiction, of the death of a real American small town. According to these people, the idea of releasing the documentary as a fictional feature film was a governmental ploy to discredit any investigation into the real town's people's disappearance. It's just a movie, would be the claim made by the government, and they would point at the film.

For what reason are these clowns distributing the tape in Mojo City? The question has concerned the city council enough that they have asked Fell Tyler, the noted Mojo psychic to attempt to divine the purpose in this evening's council meeting.

So far, no clowns have been apprehended by the city police. "We had two we were going after, but it seems they were able to outrun us." Said Police Chief Lt. Tom Hunker. "Can't figure it out. They've got those big-ass shoes. Ought to slow them down." (more)
